“Great research begins with exceptional questions.”

At this moment, we invite students and researchers who are asking themselves:
“What research should I pursue?”
“Which question has the power to reshape my era?”
to the Grand Quest Season 3 Open Forum.

Hosted by the Institute for Future Strategy at Seoul National University, the Grand Quest Project is a journey to uncover bold, paradigm-shifting questions—unsolved challenges in science and technology that carry high risks of failure but, if answered, may transform the world.

In Seasons 1 and 2, a total of 20 such frontier questions were presented—10 in each season.

At this Season 3 Open Forum, new early-career researchers will introduce the next set of breakthrough questions across five fields: Life Sciences, Energy, Space, Robotics, and Industrial AI.
