The Carbon Neutrality Cluster of the Institute for Future Strategy at Seoul National University is pleased to announce the K-GX FORUM 2026.

In recent years, carbon neutrality and the energy transition have emerged as key challenges for industry and national competitiveness. However, it is now time to move beyond the concept of transition alone and explore strategies that can generate new growth engines while strengthening industrial competitiveness.

In this context, the Institute for Future Strategy at Seoul National University will host the K-GX FORUM 2026 under the theme “Carbon Neutrality and Industrial Competitiveness: Beyond Transition, Toward Growth.” The forum will bring together experts in industrial and energy transitions to discuss the present and future of the green transition (GX).

The forum will examine the direction of Korea’s green transition policies and industry response strategies, while also exploring technological and industrial development opportunities in key energy sectors, including hydrogen, power grids, energy storage systems (ESS), and offshore wind power. In addition, a comprehensive panel discussion will provide a platform for experts from academia, industry, and research institutions to explore future strategies for Korea’s green growth.
