Greetings, and thank you for your interest towards the Institute for Future Strategy at Seoul National University.

The Institute for Future Strategy, which aims to be the best policy think tank in the country, considers the future of the country and society, researches strategies and policies accordingly, and seeks creative and innovative solutions to form a link between today and tomorrow.

The Institute for Future Strategy does not stop at solving today's problems, but is also seeking ways to prepare for future challenges. We will strive to ensure that our research and proposals have a positive impact on the nation and the international community, and will strive for continued innovation and development in Korea.

Currently, the Institute for Future Strategy has seven multidisciplinary research clusters on the following topics: △Change in world order and the future of the Korean Peninsula △Population issues such as low birth rate and aging △Democracy △Global pandemic △Future of science and technology △Economic security △Carbon neutrality. We also operate a reform task force and a Korea-Japan cooperation task force.

In the future, the Institute for Future Strategy will make full use of Seoul National University's research infrastructure and connect excellent expertise within and outside of the school in a convergence manner. In addition to these topics, the Institute for Future Strategy will select additional areas necessary for the future of the nation, conduct intensive research, and propose practical strategies and policies.

The most important customer of the Institute for Future Strategy is the nation. We will strive to not only provide a foundation for providing essential reports and briefing materials to key national decision-makers, but also to become a key focal point in determining major national strategies and policies.

In the future, Seoul National University's Institute for Future Strategy will do its best to prepare for the future and create a better world through collaboration and efforts with various members of the nation based on expertise and creativity. Thank you.
