Research on the outlook for key sectors of population change and response strategies

1. Forecasting mid- to long-term population change (size and structure) due to low birthrate and aging population
○ Analysis and forecast of mid- to long-term population change in specific areas such as regions, industries, labor, education, etc. using the '22~'72 Future Population Projections (Statistics Korea, 2023)

2. Prediction of the impact of population change on each field (employment, welfare, education, administration, region, etc.) and time period
○ Analyze the changing pattern and outlook of each field according to the population change analysis by time period (short-term, medium-term, long-term)

3. Derive issues requiring national-level responses in each field by time period
○ Derive national-level response needs by field and time period based on the outlook, and analyze the current status and evaluation of policies for each field.

4. Provide response directions by response needs and time periods
○ Provide response directions by time period (short-term, mid-term, long-term) for each issue based on outlook, policy assessment, etc.
