South Korea faces structural challenges of slowing growth, widening inequality, and excessive concentration of economic power in large conglomerates. To address these issues, the article argues that the country should move beyond a growth-first model and adopt shared growth as a new national paradigm. Shared growth promotes fairer relationships between large corporations, SMEs, workers, and consumers, combining improved trickle-down mechanisms with stronger income and capacity-building support for economically vulnerable groups. Key measures include profit-sharing, protection of suitable sectors for SMEs, direct public procurement for smaller firms, investment in SME talent and innovation, fair-market reforms, and education reform. Ultimately, shared growth is presented not as simple redistribution, but as a sustainable path toward stronger growth, social integration, and shared prosperity.
