Seoul National University is hosting the 2025 SNU Grand Forum, inviting world-renowned scholars to share in-depth insights on global issues. For this forum, we are pleased to welcome Gérard Roland, Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, who is widely known for his outstanding analyses on global economic and political transitions, to deliver a special lecture.
Professor Roland is a leading researcher in the fields of transition economics and institutional economics, and has earned global recognition for his comparative analyses of economic systems across Europe and Asia. In this lecture, under the theme of “The International Order in the Age of Donald Trump”, he will offer insightful perspectives on how the U.S.-centered international order is changing and what implications these changes have for the global political economy.
