Korea 2050 Future Strategy Forum – Strengthening Global Methane Policies and Korea’s Current Standing Through Data

The Korea 2050 Future Strategy Forum, hosted by the Carbon Neutrality Cluster of the Institute for Future Strategy at Seoul National University, seeks to envision a carbon-neutral future society and establish scientific, systematic national strategies.

As its first theme, the forum will examine the Global Methane Pledge. With global oil and gas methane management policies rapidly strengthening, the session will analyze Korea’s current situation and assess the implications for energy security, trade, and climate change, while also discussing concrete strategies for response.
