The Institute for Future Strategy at Seoul National University and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) invite you to a joint online seminar. Under the Trump 2.0 era, how should U.S. allies and partners respond to the intensifying U.S.–China rivalry? How should they adjust their policies on security, economy, technology, human rights, and people-to-people exchanges?
This seminar will discuss the U.S.–China rivalry and South Korea’s global strategy through the perspectives and arguments presented in the latest report by the SNU IFS U.S.–China Relations Task Force, Towards Co-Resilience: What the United States and South Korea Can Do Together in an Era of U.S.-China Rivalry.
Professors In Joo Sohn and Jae-Seung Jeon of Seoul National University will present the key findings and policy recommendations of the report. The expert panel discussion will be chaired by Scott Kennedy of CSIS, and panelists will include Victor Cha and Bonnie Lin (CSIS), as well as Steve Tsang (SOAS). Together, they will analyze the issues from regional and global perspectives and draw implications for the United States and its allies.
