“Living Ideas of the Future Observers: Ten Questions from the Future Generation of the Institute for Future Strategy, Seoul National University”
The Future Generation Forum, hosted by the Future of Science and Technology Cluster of the Institute for Future Strategy at Seoul National University, brought together leading scholars and young thinkers to identify the defining keywords that will shape the coming era.
This book presents ten such keywords that offer insights into the future of society and business while fostering the capacity to question and imagine what lies ahead. The ten keywords are:
Attention Ownership, Non-Human Relationships, Digital Houyhnhnms, Homo Vanitas, Dimmigration, Instrumental Intelligence and the Virtue of Inefficiency, Collapse of Authority and the Return of Instinct, AI Integrator, U-Quest, and The Transformation of Work through AI.
Beyond simply introducing these ideas, the book illuminates where to focus one’s attention to read the flow of change and capture emerging business insights. It raises questions such as:
“Which technologies will shape the markets of tomorrow?”
“When digital realities fully permeate our lives in the next decade, what kind of existence will we lead?”
Like these questions posed by the next generation, understanding the rhythm of change is the first step in adapting to the future. This book thus serves as a guide and catalyst, inspiring readers to envision the future proactively and lead the path of innovation.
