“Distortion of the Public Sphere and Political Polarization: YouTube Politics and Fake News”

The rapid spread of fake news has emerged as a serious social issue in Korean society. At the same time, the growing influence of digital platforms such as YouTube has intensified the polarization of political discourse. In response, the Institute for Future Strategy at Seoul National University is convening this forum to diagnose these phenomena and explore potential solutions.

Experts in the field will share insights on the current state of the fake news problem and engage in in-depth discussions on possible societal responses. Through free and open debate, this event seeks to generate meaningful strategies and practical measures. We warmly invite your interest and participation.
